During the 1970's shortly after the Vietnam War, a family of migrants from Saigon moved to Canada and ultimately settled in Toronto. All our dishes and soups are prepared from scratch to ensure the finest quality and dining experience to our customers. Ingredients are delivered and prepared fresh on a daily basis. At Kim Po we only use the most premium quality ingredients. Today, Kim Po has now grown to 5 locations throughout the GTA and continues to expand (see locations). The same location is still running and serving many loyal customers for the past 30 years. The first Kim Po opened on Dundas Street as a small local eatery out of Toronto's Chinatown district. With only one goal in mind, the humble family succeeded in opening the very first Kim Po in 1978. They brought over traditional Vietnamese culture and recipes that were passed on from generations to generations to share with all Canadians. Each spring roll is individually wrapped by hand, and each batch of broth is set to boil for 24 hours ahead of time before serving to bring out the richest flavors.
